Blouses and shirts from Dongguan

The Peakstone Group always had excellent business partners for the manufacture of clothing. Even accessories like fabrics, thread, buttons etc. have been supplied by specialists of Mosgen Ltd. and TAA Mosgen GmbH to their more than 50 manufacturers.
These are all longterm and exclusive relationships.
However, the need for its own manufacturing became more pressing in the past years. In 2006, Ben Yau (Peakstone shareholder and Managing Director of Mosgen Ltd.) planned and established a manufacturing site for top quality shirts and blouses in Dongguan - about 1 1/2 hour of driving from Hong Kong.
For the first time full production capacity has been reached in 2008.
600,000 shirts and blouses for the European market have been manufactured by 250 employees.

The Dongguan manufacturing site is certified by 'Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)'. BSCI ensures a worldwide, recognized social standard for developing nations. All work areas of TIG Factory Ltd. comply with certain minimum requirements, e.g. fair payments and no child labor.
In addition, TIG provides a residential house with many apartments for their employees on the company grounds.

The Dongguan location is very important for the Peakstone Group. Ben Yau: 'It is our goal to incorporate the group more intensely into China via this location. This is the basic prerequisite for the future of the company.'

The plant offers all steps of manufacture: pattern making/sampling, storing of accessories, cuts, sewing, ironing, packaging and shipping.
A fully equipped lab for quality assurance is also available.

To be close to the manufacturing site has been the main reason to move the central sampling area for the entire Peakstone Group to Dongguan. Here, all designs are being created for the first time and are handmade. The samples are being sent to the Mosgen colleagues in Hong Kong or directly to the purchasing departments of the customers.

Dongguan is a location with two production sites. Apart from manufacturing there are another 80 employees working in sales, purchasing and controlling.
